NewsEngin is driven by former working journalists who understand the demands on news organizations better than anyone in the editorial software industry.
George Landau, president and founder. Before launching NewsEngin in 1996, he was manager of information technology in the newsroom of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He oversaw computer-assisted reporting, system architecture, technical support, custom software development, new media, and the News Research Department. George also has spent many years as a general assignment and special projects reporter.
Jim Mosley, chief executive officer. He has spent more than 16 years as a reporter, editor and newsroom manager. Jim manages our day-to-day business operations. Before coming to NewsEngin, Jim was a senior editor at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He also has worked as a state capital reporter, a computer-assisted reporting specialist and head of the local news department.
Andy Pohl, chief technology officer. Andy is a former senior production manager and network systems administrator at Ohio Community Media (formerly Brown Publishing Company). Andy has extensive experience with server administration and monitoring, newsroom-user support and enterprise software deployment.
